You decided on your pool form, and the hole for construction has been dug 3 feet wider then the final size. There are two parts to the frame construction; the sides and the anchors to keep it in place. We will cover this topic over three pages due to the photographs we have to show you. The Frame The frame is made of aluminum sections. They come in a number of shapes and lengths. Based on all the available shapes, you can put them together to form any pool design you would like to have. All of the sections are about 42" tall. Frame Assembly Each section is connected to the one next to it. Here are a couple of pictures from our pool construction.
Each of the major side sections are 8' each. As you approach the corners there are shorter sections. As you can see the corner section is rounded. Just before the corner is a short section that has one of the filter intakes.
In the above photo, you can see the other filter intake. And you can see the side and corner sections. You can also see the steps, which connect to the frame. The stakes you see are to allow the walls to set level. More on this in the next section. On the next page we continue with the Frame Anchors. |
