We continue now with the exterior Frame Anchors. Frame Anchors Once the crew has assembled the frames, they connect cross beams (or anchors). These will be used to hold the frame in place and provide support. Below you can see a picture of the anchors, which are connected to the top and bottom of the frames.
There a few other things you can see in the picture above. There is a black pipe lying under the anchors, at the bottom of the picture. The pipe is part of the filtration system. And if you look at the top of each frame section you can see each section has aluminum coping, which has been powder coated to resist skidding. The cement deck that will surround the pool will be filled in, right up to the top of the coping.
Filtration Typically, the filtration system consists of one or two intakes, with filter baskets to catch debris, and one or two returns, which bring the filtered water back into the pool. If you have a Jacuzzi type stairway, it will also have return lines connected to it. All of these lines are laid and connected to the pool before the next step in the frame process. adding a cement collar around the bottom of the frame. Later the pipes will be connected to the pump and filter system.
On the next page we finish the discussion of the Frame.
